賽馬會友伴幼小銜接計劃由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助，並由本機構、香港理工大學和香港基督教服務處聯合推動。本計劃爲期三年，旨在支援少數族裔的初小學生及其家長適應小學環境，使他們能儘早融入主流學校，為學習生涯奠定良好基礎。本計劃亦延續及發揚“友趣學中文”的計劃成果，將“家社校”合作模式推廣至小學。

 

STEPS stands for Smooth Transition for Early Primary Students. Our project partners include The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Christian Service. This 3-year project, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, aims to support Non-Chinese speaking (NCS) early primary students to have a smooth transition from kindergarten to primary school education and eventually have a better integration into the local community. STEPS provides support to NCS parents and students through the home-school-community model. It is the extension of C-for-Chinese @ JC Project which lays a foundation for the current project.
